Marketo, Inc., the leading provider of engagement marketing software and solutions, today announced it has been named a Leader by Gartner Inc., for the fifth straight year in the September 2016 Magic Quadrant for CRM Lead Management. The report evaluated 17 vendors.
Marketo’s position in the Leaders quadrant underscores the company’s ability to execute and deliver on its complete vision. According to the report, “Leaders provide market-leading functionality that supports B2B, B2B2C, and B2C lead management processes across multiple channels, and both outbound and inbound marketing processes. These vendors demonstrate market awareness and agility in their ability to develop and deploy support for new market and user requirements. Examples include the development of industry-specific templates for lead management and the ability to integrate with both digital channels (such as email marketing, social channels and online webinars) and traditional or non-digital marketing channels.”
In addition to strong global customer momentum across several key verticals, Marketo has recently announced plans for its next-generation platform architecture, code-named Project Orion, as well as the upcoming launch of its native account-based marketing (ABM) product.
“We feel maintaining our Leadership position for the fifth consecutive year in Gartner’s 2016 Magic Quadrant report is validation that marketers are looking for a comprehensive marketing solution with the sophistication to engage tens-of-thousands of customers at scale, and the simplicity and agility to deploy it quickly and easily across their organizations,” said Chandar Pattabhiram, chief marketing officer at Marketo. “We’re thrilled to receive this recognition by Gartner that we believe reaffirms our goal to give tomorrow’s marketers an enterprise platform for customer engagement.”
