Disney+ to kick off in Canada, Netherlands, US, Australia, and New Zealand in November

Disney yesterday announced the launch dates of Disney+ in Canada, the Netherlands, U.S., Australia, and New Zealand. The first countries to receive Disney+ are Canada, Netherlands and the US, on November 12. Australia and New Zealand will receive access on November 19.

Disney+ include Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic content, which will be available in mobile and connected TV devices at launch. The streaming platforms are Apple (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV; customers can subscribe to Disney+ via in-app purchase), Google (Android phones, Android TV devices, Google Chromecast and Chromecast built-in devices), Microsoft (Xbox One), Sony / Sony Interactive Entertainment (all Android based Sony TVs and PlayStation®4), and Roku (Roku® streaming players and Roku TV™ models)

Disney+ cost is $8.99CAD per month (or $89.99 per year) in Canada, €6.99 per month (or €69.99 per year) in the Netherlands, $8.99AUD per month (or $89.99 per year) and $9.99NZD per month in Canada and New Zealand. The US will have a bundled offering of Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu for $12.99USD. According to Disney, the Disney+ will cost $6.99 a month in the US, when not bundled.
