Microsoft’s streaming platform Mixer is growing after the acquisition of a popular streamer

Mixer is having a momentum of growth after the popular streamer Ninja ditch the streaming platform Twitch (Amazon) to join Mixer, from Microsoft. According to Sensor Tower, there was a spike of downloads of Microsoft’s streaming platform following Ninja’s announcement.

Mixer had a 100 percent growth week-over-week and about 26,000 downloads just in one day, 2 days ago.

Mixer from Microsoft competes with Twitch (Amazon), YouTube (Google), and Facebook. Mixer is available in 18 languages, and was launched in January, 2016.
