IAB is inviting publishers to join a webinar in which IAB will provide an update and discuss the implications and benefits of viewability for publishers. Publishers will have the opportunity to ask questions.
The webinar will take place on Monday 10 December at 15.00 CET / 14.00 GMT, and the speakers will be Alison Fennah, Executive Business Advisor, IAB Europe, Christer Ljones, Vice-Chair, IAB Europe Brand Advertising Committee and Head of Product Strategy, Schibsted, Suzanne McElligott, CEO IAB Ireland and member of the European Viewability Steering Group, and Karim Attia, Chair, IAB Europe Brand Advertising Committee and member of the European Viewability Steering Group.
The European Authority (the operating division of the European Viewability Initiative, resourced by IAB Europe and EACA) recently announced the appointment of three independent media auditing organizations (UK – JICWEBS, Germany – AGOF/BVDW and France – Digital Ad Trust) to undertake annual technical measurement audits of any company providing viewability measurement services across Europe. IAB says the appointment of the three auditors facilitates delivery of the framework’s remit to establish a consistent Viewability solution across Europe and to minimize measurement discrepancies.
