Google will sunset Adwords old interface by the end of the year, the company announced this week saying that “the new AdWords will become the exclusive way to manage your accounts by the end of the year.”
Before the switch to the new Adwords UI, according to Google, advertisers will get an email with the information and resources they need to prepare. Google says that it “won’t switch accounts during the busy holiday months of November and December.”
Reports, filters and automated rules will be automatically moved from the previous UI to the new Adwords UI.
Google Adwords was launched 17 years ago and advertisers can use it for search ads, display ads on GDN (Google Display Network) and for True View Ads (on Youtube and Google video partners).
