Amazon creates a new certification for Alexa Skill developers
The certification is AWS Certified Alexa Skill Builder and Amazon says it's the industry's first and only certification that validates personal ability to build, test, and publish Amazon Alexa skills.

Amazon this month created a new certification for the ones looking be certified in voice / personal assistant skills. The certification is AWS Certified Alexa Skill Builder and Amazon says it's the industry's first and only certification that validates personal ability to build, test, and publish Amazon Alexa skills.
AWS Alexa Skill Builder certification exam is available now at Amazon's testing centers around the world. It costs 300 USD, and it takes 170 minutes. The example is only available in English.
“The demand from organizations for skilled professionals who can build skills for emerging voice-enabled workloads is increasing,” says Kevin Kelly, director, AWS Certification and Education Programs. “This new certification validates those skills with the only credential in the industry focused on Alexa skill building.”
