Apple allows users to change their default browser and mail apps in iOS 14
The option to change the default browser is available in settings. Users can click on their favorite browser and select it as a default app.

In the new iOS 14, Apple is now allowing users to change their default browser and mail apps. Users can go to settings in iOS, click on their favorite browser or mail app, and then select the app as the default app.
It took 14 versions of iOS, and 13 years since iOS was launched, for Apple to allow users to change their default browser or mail apps.
Within iOS 14, Apple introduced Home Screen Widgets in iOS14. Here the example of DuckDuckGo new widget:

Not all developers were ready with new widgets and updated apps for iOS14. Apple gave one day notice for developers to update their apps.
