Google last month launched a free insights tool called Realtime Content Insights (RCI). Realtime Content Insights integrates Google Analytics data, Twitter data and Google Trends data to help newsrooms make quick, data-driven decisions on content creation and distribution.
Google says that with this tool, journalists will be able to identify which articles are the most popular across their audience and what broader topics are trending in their regions.
Through Realtime Content Insights (RCI), publishers can create a visualization of their Google Analytics data on a full-screen display mode. The visualization helps publishers to visualize the most read articles in real time.
Realtime Content Insights it’s available for all versions of Google Analytics, meaning small publishers also have access to the tool.
