Google released today Google Lens on iOS, making available the discovery functionality on the Google Photos App.
“Starting today and rolling out over the next week, those of you on iOS can try the preview of Google Lens to quickly take action from a photo or discover more about the world around you. Make sure you have the latest version (3.15) of the app,” said Google in a tweet.
How does Google Lens work?
Open Google Photos app on your iPhone and take a photo of a book, a card, a picture, and Lens will recognize it and move out the information gathering more details about the object. Lens works on photos of business cards, books, landmarks and buildings, paintings in a museum, plants or animals, and flyers and event billboards.
