Gooogle adds 11 new countries in the advertiser verification program

Google this month added 11 new countries in the advertiser verification program. Identity verification was introduced in 2018, and initially was only for political advertisers. Last year, Google started to verify all advertisers.

Since June 17, Google added Bangladesh, Belarus, Ecuador, Egypt, Guatemala, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Panama, Peru, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay too the advertiser verification program.

Google said last year that expects the process will take a few years to complete, with a globally expansion.

The advertiser name must be the legal name, and match the name on the registration documentation. The brand or product names, that are not legal names, are not allowed.
