McCann Paris won the global advertising and marketing communications account for VICHY, the skincare and beauty brand that is part of L'Oréal's Active Cosmetics Division, McCann Paris announced today.
McCann Paris says that will focus on a new global communication platform that will be rolled out in 2018 in VICHY's key markets. The brand, which is sold in more than 60 countries, was created in 1931 in VICHY in the heart of France's Auvergne Volcanoes Region from where it derives its mineralizing thermal water with unique medical properties.
Bruno Tallent, CEO of McCann France, said "We are very proud to partner with such an iconic brand as VICHY, writing a new page of its history as it evolves to face future challenges and opportunities, both in France and internationally. McCann Paris has been working with the L'Oréal group for many years, and we are delighted to be able to extend this partnership within the group's dermo-cosmetic division."
McCann Worldgroup, which created the beauty company's iconic "You're worth it" brand concept 45 years ago, handles all of L'Oréal Paris's hair care, skin care, hair color and styling, cosmetics and men's products around the world.
