Google this week announced YouTube Music is now available for free on Google Home speakers. YouTube Music is an ad-supported music service available on Google Home speakers or other Google Assistant-powered speakers.

The free ad-supported YouTube Music on smart speakers was launched this week in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Japan, Netherlands, and Austria. Google says it will be available in more countries soon.

To set YouTube Music as the music provider users need to go to Google Home app, navigate to Account Settings in your Google Home app, tap Services and select Music. Then, select YouTube Music as the default music service. 

Amazon this week also launched a free ad-supported music service on Alexa-enabled devices.
