AdSecure rolls out a Blacklist URL detection

AdSecure yesterday rolled out a new URL detection that detects blacklisted urls on Norton Safe Web, Google Safe Browsing, McAfee, Sucuri Labs, ESET, PhishTank, Yandex, Opera, and Spamhaus.

Blacklists are commonly used to protect computer systems and infrastructures against online threats such as phishing, malware or webspam. These lists are curated and maintained by search engines, antivirus authorities and security organizations.

AdSecure says Blacklist URL detection will provide deeper insight into the security of every URL in a given ad redirection chain, and overtime will be routinely adding more data from other providers.

This Blacklist URL detection is classified as user security violation and is available since yesterday in all AdSecure accounts.
