Rob Goldman, VP Ad Products at Facebook, published today, 7 advertising principles of Facebook. Know here the principles:

  1. We build for people first.
  2. We don’t sell people’s data.
  3. People can control the ads they see.
  4. Advertising should be transparent.
  5. Advertising should be safe and civil.
  6. Advertising should empower businesses big and small.
  7. We’re always improving our advertising.

Rob says that Facebook goal “is to show ads that are as relevant and useful as the other content.”
