Amazon this month introduced Sponsored Display product targeting recommendations in Amazon Advertising API in the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Canada, and Japan.
According to Amazon, Sponsored Display product targeting recommendations enables advertisers to launch campaigns faster by providing a higher number of relevant product recommendations at scale.
Amazon says recommendations are ranked by their probability of driving a higher clickthrough rate (CTR) and are based on the similarity of the recommended products to advertised products with similar detail page views.
Amazon Advertising API for Sponsored Display enables programmatic access for campaign creation, management, and reporting for Sponsored Display campaigns.
