Apple rolls out Search Ads on the App Store
According to The Verge, Apple is joining the search ads business in October, with search ads on Apple Store being rolled out on 5 October, but for now, only in USA. Philip Schiller, senior vice president of worldwide marketing at Apple, said that Apple “thought about how to carefully do it in a way that, first and foremost, customers will be happy with” and that App Store search will be “fair to developers, and fair for indie developers, too.”
Apple started to test the Search Ads in May of this year, according to Bloomberg, and if you are based in USA, now is time to test the Apple Search Ads. For the first campaign, Apple is offering 100 dollars in credit.
