Celtra yesterday announced Eli Chapman’s hiring as Senior Vice President of Brand Strategy and Sales. Celtra says Chapman will be responsible for the acceleration and growth of Celtra’s brand direct business. Chapman will lead strategy and guide execution for brands that leverage Celtra’s Creative Management Platform, working closely with marketers, their agencies and their consultancies.
According to Celtra, Eli Chapman spent nearly two decades leading digital transformation efforts across the advertising industry. Most recently, as Managing Director/Global Head of Media and Connections at R/GA, Chapman helped clients develop and execute digital-first strategies for online and offline media innovation, building out an integrated cross-functional talent-rich team. Prior to R/GA, Chapman was Senior Director, Client Partner at TubeMogul, where he developed and implemented the company’s client partnership model and led a bespoke team designed to onboard and grow the company’s most strategic brand-direct relationships, including L’Oreal USA, Johnson & Johnson, and Heineken. He previously founded his own digital agency where his largest clients included The Coca-Cola Company and Proximo Spirits.
“As marketers begin to realize the promise of technology and data, there is still a divide between the beauty of big creative ideas and the reality of digital marketing. No one is better positioned than Celtra to bridge that divide and help scale great creative across digital channels. I feel privileged to join the world-class Celtra team in our mission of building out a Creative Management Platform that helps brand marketers and creative professionals transform their creative strategy across their entire organization.”
