Dentsu acquires Partners, a creative agency in Portugal

Dentsu Aegis Network has reached an agreement to acquire MSTF Partners, Dentsu announced this week. MSTF Partners is a creative agency in Portugal, established in May 2003, and headquartered in Lisbon with over 60 employees.

According to Dentsu, Partners is one of Portugal’s most awarded creative agencies. Dentsu says the acquisition creates the opportunity for a new agency concept in the Portuguese market, integrating award-winning creative with media and data strategy planning, supported by the local and global media buying capabilities of a major advertising network.

“The global scale of Dentsu Aegis Network opens the door for Partners to the rest of the world. This is a unique opportunity that we want to leverage with our clients. The challenge of integrating creativity and media will change the way we work both strategically and creatively. It is the future of agencies, it is what brands need and look for, and with this move we are anticipating the future.”

Tomas Froes, Partners CEO

MSTF Partners has a revenue of 6.05 million (year ended December 2017) and Tomas Froes is the CEO. Dentsu didn’t disclose the value of the transaction, saying that the “impact of this transaction on Dentsu’s consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2018 is expected to be minimal.”
