Disney+ this week announced that the paid subscriber count has surpassed the 50 million milestone. Disney+ was launched first in the US, five months ago, on November 12.
Netflix, in comparison, has around 167 million subscribers, and it is available worldwide.
Disney+ is available in Germany, UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, and Puerto Rico.
