EMX files for bankruptcy
EMX, an SSP (Supply Side Platform), and its parent company Big Village, this week filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court District of Delaware. The case number is 23-10180-CTG.
Big Village is backed by the venture capital firm Lake Capital Partners. AdExchanger reports that EMX shut down most operations and let go almost all of its employees as of Thursday.
In the latest months, several publishers complained on Reddit the lack of payments by EMX.
