Google launched today a new edition of G Suite for Education that offers additional enterprise-grade capabilities designed for large institutions and customized for education. G Suite Enterprise for Education, starting today, is generally available to educational institutions in the United States. According to Google, more countries will come soon.
The main differences between G Suite for Education and G Suite Enterprise for Education, is that the first is free, and the second costs 4 dollars per user, and per month.
Both, G Suite for Education and G Suite Enterprise for Education, have Classroom collaboration with Google Classroom, Gmail, shared calendars, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, forms, sites, unlimited cloud storage, device management and administration controls.
The upgrade for G Suite Enterprise for Education offers Gmail log analysis in BigQuery, integration of Gmail with compliant third-party archiving tools, advanced mobile device management, a security center, and more advanced callings with larger meetings (up to 50 points) and recording.
