Google stops serving ads in Russia

Google this week announced it has paused temporarily from serving ads to users located in Russia, starting on March 3.

According to Google, this pause is due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, labeled by policy as a sensitive event.

This week, Google stopped ads in Donetsk and in Luhansk, because of sanctions. Google also announced that it has paused ad monetization of Russian Federation state-funded media.
