Google Ads to Restrict Plumbing Ads in the Netherlands
Google has announced an update to its other restricted businesses policy that will restrict plumbing ads in the Netherlands. This policy update will take effect on February 22, 2024.

Google has announced an update to its other restricted businesses policy that will restrict plumbing ads in the Netherlands. This policy update will take effect on February 22, 2024.
With this update, Google Ads will no longer serve ads for plumber services in the Netherlands. Includes Search, Display, and YouTube.
If you are an advertiser in the Netherlands who is currently running ads for plumbing services, you need to remove those ads before February 22, 2024. Failure to do so will result in your ads being disapproved.
Google will not immediately suspend accounts for violating this policy. Instead, advertisers will receive a warning at least 7 days prior to any suspension.
