Google introduces Shopping Ads on YouTube

Google yesterday announced the introduction of Google Shopping Ads on YouTube. Google says is making YouTube more shoppable by introducing Shopping ads on the YouTube home feed and YouTube search results.

According to Google, nearly two-thirds of shoppers say online video has given them ideas and inspiration for their purchase, and over 90% say that they’ve discovered new products and brands via YouTube.

Google Shopping Ads are used by retailers. Shopping Ads use product data from Google Merchant Center. Advertisers are able to bid CPC or CPE.
