Google launched this month the domain name .page, the newest top-level domain (TLD) from Google Registry. Google says the .page TLD is an opportunity for anyone to build an online presence.
Standard registrations will be available on October 9th. .page domains are available now through the Early Access Program, for an extra fee.
All .page websites require an SSL certificate, which keeps the connections to the domains secure and helps protect against ad malware and tracking injections. Both .page and .app, which Google launched in May, will help move the web to an HTTPS-everywhere future.
