Google launches prepaid plans in India for YouTube Premium

Google today launched prepaid plans for YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium in India. Users can now purchase prepaid plans without enrolling in an ongoing subscription, and for the period they paid for. According to Google, at any point, users will also be able to extend their paid benefits by an additional 1-month or 3-months by purchasing additional top-ups for their membership.

Prepaid plans on YouTube Premium are available for 1 or 3-month periods. Users can pay with local credit or debit card from Visa or Mastercard.

Pawan Agarwal, Head of Music Content Partnerships, India & South Asia wrote that Google hopes that this added flexibility will help users to enjoy the YouTube Premium and Music Premium experience.
