Google now allows combination of bumper ads and skippable in-stream for YouTube reach

Google this month announced a new generation of YouTube reach line items (Video Reach Campaigns). In these line items, Google now allows advertisers to combine 6-second bumper ads and skippable in-stream assets in a single ad group.

Google says the combination of bumper ads and skippable in-stream assets enables advertisers to optimize for better reach using a single CPM goal.

TrueView for reach ads are optimized to deliver more impressions at lower CPMs. According to Google, Display & Video 360 optimize the bids to help get as many impressions as possible using the target CPM.

Until now, YouTube reach could have only in-stream assets. Now advertisers can have 6-second bumper ads as well.
