Google rolls out globally YouTube Masthead buying on CPM basis

Google this month rolled out globally the YouTube Masthead buying on CPM basis. The buying on a cost-per-thousand impression (CPM) basis is now available for all advertisers. Before advertisers could only buy YouTube Masthead on a cost-per-day (CPD) basis.

According to Google, advertisers now also have the option to use audiences on CPM buying. The CPD buying remains available.

Google sells YouTube Masthead as a reserved placement, via programmatic guaranteed. Advertisers can preview the Masthead and customizations on a webpage.
