Google stops ads in Donetsk and Luhansk

Google this month stopped all display ads in the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) and Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR).

Google this month stopped all display ads in the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) and Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR).

According to Google, the pause happens in compliance with the United States Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Due to sanctions, Google doesn’t have ads in Crimea, Cuba, the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) and Luhansk People’s Republic (LNR), Iran, North Korea, and Syria.
