Google this month announced it will limit complex speculative financial products ads in Brazil. Beginning March 10, advertisers of complex speculative financial products will be able to advertise only if certified by Google and licensed by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM).

Google says violations of this policy will not lead to immediate account suspension without prior warning. A warning will be issued, at least 7 days, prior to any suspension of the accounts.
