Mastercard and ING Turkey today announced a collaboration that is transforming android smart phones in POS devices. SMEs and all micro businesses can now accept card payments through their mobile devices via the ING SoftPos Application in the Google Play store.
With this SoftPos application any connected NFC enabled android device can turn into an acceptance device – meaning no Pos cost – via Mastercard technology.
According to Mastercard in Turkey there are 1.5 million SME’s such as taxi drivers, small markets, bagel sellers, florists, electricians, plumbers, dry cleaning shops, that can increase their sales by embracing digital payments.
