IAB Europe this month released the Serbia Digital Ad Spend Report 2019, where it states that the ad spend grew 28% between 2018 and 2019, year over year.
According to the report, mobile ad spend in Serbia increased by 60% and video by 46%. IAB Serbia estimated that the total ad spend was 47 million euros, over 5 times higher than 10 years ago.
Of the 47 million euros, around 32 million are spent on display, 7 million spent on search, and 6 million spent on classifieds.
In Serbia, the programmatic ad spend is 72% in display, 96% in video, and 79% in mobile.
More than 10million euros were spent on Facebook.
In digital advertising, last year, Serbia was the fastest market growing market in Europe. Ukraine, Belarus, Croatia, and Turkey were the next on the top 5.
