Smart Shopping campaigns now available to all advertisers via the API

Since last week, Smart Shopping campaigns are available for all advertisers in AdWords API and in Google Ads API, Google announced. The release happened after tests in the Adwords API with whitelisted advertisers.

Smart Shopping campaigns combine automation and machine learning to maximize the conversion value across networks based on the budget.

Thanet Praneenararat, working at Google Ads API Team, says that “for optimal performance, Google recommends at least 20 conversions over the last 45 days across existing Shopping campaigns before creating a Smart Shopping campaign.”
