Google yesterday added a report on Search Console for sites that have implemented SpecialAnnouncement structured data. Google adopted the SpecialAnnouncement markup last month, enabling websites to show announcements on search results.
According to Google, the report on Special Announcements enables website owners to see errors, warnings, and valid pages for markup implemented on your site. In addition, if a website owner fix an issue, they can use the report to validate it, which will trigger a process where Google recrawls the affected pages.
Webmasters can now also test the special announcements in Rich Results Test. Google says that after adding SpecialAnnouncement structured data to the pages, webmasters can test them using the Rich Results Test tool.
