Google last month dropped the deadline to force parallel tracking on video campaigns. The previous deadline was June 15, 2020. Before was March 31, 2020.
It is the second time Google is postponing the deadline. Google says now that the extension of the deadline indefinitely will give everyone extra time to make this transition.
Nicky Rettke, Director of Product Management at Google Video Ads, wrote that partners who completed the adoption of parallel tracking can already opt-in.
Parallel tracking makes the internet faster to users as tracking runs in the background.
