LinkedIn ad revenue surpasses $1 billion in Q2

Microsoft yesterday released the quarter results for Q2 2021. Microsoft says LinkedIn Marketing Solutions surpassed $1 billion in revenue this quarter, for the first time, up 97 percent year over year.
In the FY21 fourth quarter earnings conference call, Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s CEO, said LinkedIn surpassed $10 billion in annual revenue.
“LinkedIn has become the leading platform for professional hiring and corporate learning, the leading provider of sales intelligence, and one of the largest players in B2B digital advertising,” said Ryan Roslansky, CEO of LinkedIn, commenting the results.
This year, LinkedIn launched Event Ads, enabling advertisers to promote events in LinkedIn. LinkedIn has now 774M members and 58M companies connected.
Satya Nadella, Microsoft’s CEO, said LinkedIn's revenue has nearly tripled since Microsoft acquired LinkedIn. Microsoft paid $26.2 Billion for LinkedIn.
