LinkedIn announced last week the adoption of first price auctions in programmatic, a move being promoted by Appnexus, the main ad tech partner of LinkedIn and Microsoft. Matthew Hogg, Head of Programmatic Sales at LinkedIn, said here that “from November 8th LinkedIn will transition entirely to first price auctions, openly communicated in every bid request.”
LinkedIn wants to introduce transparency and to have a market build on trust, therefore announced that over the next few months are completing TAG certification and also introducing ads.txt on linkedin.com domain.
