LinkedIn announced today that is launching conversion tracking: “a set of capabilities built directly into LinkedIn Campaign Manager that lets you easily measure how many leads, sign-ups, content downloads, purchases, and other specific results you’re getting from your Sponsored Content and Text Ads campaigns.”
This will answer the question from many advertisers. As LinkedIn say here, many advertisers want to measure on LinkedIn platform the direct response of their campaigns.
The new LinkedIn Conversion Tracking will allow advertisers to understand the performance of specific ads or the performance of different LinkedIn audiences, which include data like job function, industry or company size.
The metrics available will be conversion count, cost per conversion and conversion rate.
