OTT app Peacock reaches nearly 3 million installs in the first month
Peacock’s free version is completely ad-supported.

NBCUniversal’s Peacock has reached 2.9 million installs in the first month, Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates reveal. As comparison, in the first month after launch, Disney+ reached about 23 million installs in the U.S. and Quibi generated 2.6 million installs.
Comcast, reporting the 2nd Quarter 2020 Results, said that Peacock had 10 million registered users.
According to Sensor Tower, during the launch week, Peacock saw nearly 1.3 million installs. In the weeks after, Peacock has seen about 450,000 thousand weekly installs on average. It saw its best day ever on the day after launch when it hit 337,000 downloads from first-time adopters on July 16.
Peacock’s free version is completely ad-supported. An ad-supported premium version is available for $4.99. Users who do not want to have ads need to pay $9.99.
