DPAA, the digital out-of-home marketing association, yesterday announced that Ultrahaptics has joined its membership ranks. According to DPAA, Ultrahaptics creates tactile sensations in mid-air, and no controllers or wearables are needed: the company’s patented “virtual touch” technology uses ultrasound to project sensations and shapes directly onto the user’s
