Amazon introduces a minimum sales fee in Europe and changes seller fees

As of June 5, Amazon will change the % sales fees in Europe, and will introduce a minimum sales fee of 0.30 Euro, except for food and media. The main change on the sales fees will occur in jewelry and watches, where the fee reduction was 75% for jewelry.

As of June 5, Amazon will change the % sales fees in Europe, and will introduce a minimum sales fee of 0.30 Euro, except for food and media. The main change on the sales fees will occur in jewelry and watches, where the fee reduction was 75% for jewelry.

Amazon yesterday notified the sellers about the change in fees.

The % fees will decrease for articles with a price lower than 10 euros, on food, beauty, drugstore & body care, and baby products, however is not sure if sellers will pay less has they will now have a minimum fee.

On furniture, the percentage sales fee will decrease for products with a total sales price above 200 EUR.

The jewelry and watches sales fee have been reduced for products with a total sales price above 250 EUR.

In France, Amazon will increase the sales fee for PC hardware, peripherals and TVs in a 40%.
