Salesforce has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Datorama, an AI-powered marketing intelligence and analytics platform for enterprises, agencies and publishers, Salesforce announced yesterday.
According to Salesforce, Datorama enables more than 3,000 leading global agencies and brands—including PepsiCo, Ticketmaster, Trivago, Unilever, Pernod Ricard and Foursquare—to optimize marketing campaigns, automate reporting and make data-driven decisions faster.
Salesforce's acquisition of Datorama will enhance the power of Marketing Cloud with expanded data integration and intelligence, enabling marketers to unlock insights across all of their marketing channels and data sources. With one unified view of data and insights, companies can make smarter decisions across the entire customer journey and optimize engagement at scale.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed but Haaretz reported it was worth 850 million US dollars. Datorama is based in Tel Aviv, and this price is the fourth-largest Israeli exit of a startup. Datorama previously raised $50 million in private money and employs 400 people.
