Snapchat this month announced it will shut down its desktop camera. On January 25, 2023, Snap Camera will no longer be available to use or download.
SnapChat launched Snap Camera for desktop in October, 2018. The application ran with the webcams installed on Windows and Mac.
Users could use Snap Camera in their favorite third-party live streamings or video chat applications by selecting Snap Camera as their webcam device.
Now users will have to revert their camera to the default in the video settings.
