TikTok Shop has published documentation for a new AI-powered Seller Center interface called the AI Homepage, replacing the platform's traditional module-based dashboard with a system of five intelligent Agents that surface shop data, flag issues, and suggest actions in real time - currently in beta for a limited group of US sellers.

What the AI Homepage is

The AI Homepage is built directly into the PC version of TikTok Shop's Seller Center, requiring no additional downloads or tools. According to TikTok Shop's US Academy documentation, dated June 27, 2026, the feature replaces what the platform describes as the old "module-based" homepage with an interface that combines real-time shop data, marketplace signals, and growth recommendations in a single screen.

The interface has three structural components. A top bar shows the shop name and, where applicable, a direct link to the seller's Account Manager. On the right side, a collapsible Seller Assistant panel - expanded by default - handles detailed explanations, step-by-step guidance, and one-click task execution. The main dashboard displays five Agent cards, sorted dynamically based on shop type and seller activity. TikTok notes that sellers can provide feedback on individual Agent cards using "Thumbs Up" or "Thumbs Down" buttons that appear on hover, and that this feedback is used to refine the AI.

The beta phase began April 9, 2026, and is restricted to select US L2L (local-to-local) sellers. The MVP version is PC-only; no mobile Seller Center app support is available at this stage.

The five agents

Each Agent is designed to address a specific operational task, and visibility of any given Agent depends on the seller's shop type and activity status.

Shop Insight Agent functions as a daily health check. It automatically reviews a shop's key metrics and health scores - specifically the Account Health Rating (AHR) and Shop Performance Score (SPS), the two scoring systems that now govern seller access across fulfillment, affiliate marketing, campaign eligibility, and settlement speed on TikTok Shop. The Agent summarises gross merchandise value (GMV) and traffic fluctuations, and surfaces negative alerts such as policy violations or low inventory. Sellers can click any metric or alert within the card to get a root-cause explanation and step-by-step resolution guidance in the sidebar - including the ability to appeal a violation directly from the same panel.

To-Do List Agent organises all daily operational tasks into a prioritised list. According to TikTok Shop, the Agent separates tasks into two categories: "fixed" tasks with hard deadlines - such as order fulfillment and return processing - and "floating" tasks with softer timelines, such as inventory restocks and negative review responses. Urgent tasks, defined as those with a deadline within 24 hours, are surfaced at the top of the list. The Agent also summarises what financial or operational risk a seller takes on by missing a given task. Simple tasks such as restocking inventory or replying to a review can be completed within the sidebar; more complex workflows such as tax setup redirect the seller to the relevant Seller Center page.

New Seller Coach Agent is visible only to sellers with no prior sales, or those within 60 days of onboarding. It delivers a personalised task list tailored to the seller's shop type - actions such as listing five products, setting up a flash sale, or optimising the shop profile. The Agent tracks progress across those tasks and provides direct links to the relevant tools. When the seller completes all tasks, records their first sale, or reaches 60 days of onboarding, the Agent disappears automatically and the seller transitions to the standard AI Homepage view.

Smart Product Analysis Agent scans active products in real time, prioritising bestsellers and recently listed items, to flag issues such as declining sales, low traffic, or poor conversion. The Agent provides data-backed explanations for each flag and generates optimisation suggestions. Some actions - including one-click price adjustments - can be executed directly from the sidebar. The Agent is not visible to sellers with no active product listings.

Product Opportunity Radar Agent uses TikTok Shop's seven-day real-time data to surface two types of opportunity: SEO keyword recommendations to boost product visibility, and trending "opportunity products" - items with high demand in the seller's category. When a keyword opportunity is identified, the seller can click "Apply" and the Agent generates AI-optimised product details; confirming updates the product listing instantly. For trending products, clicking "Create Draft" generates a pre-filled listing draft that the seller can edit before publishing.

Agents adapt to seller type

Agent visibility is not static. New sellers who have not yet started fulfilling orders do not see the To-Do List Agent. Sellers with no active products do not see the Smart Product Analysis Agent. The dashboard reorders Agent cards automatically based on shop type, behaviour, and Agent performance metrics. Manual reordering is not supported in the current version.

According to TikTok Shop, Agent visibility and card ordering reflect how the system "dynamically adjusts based on your shop's activity."

Context within TikTok Shop's compliance architecture

The AI Homepage arrives as TikTok Shop has been building out a dense compliance and scoring infrastructure across 2025 and 2026. The Shop Insight Agent surfaces the AHR and SPS scores that were formalised in June 2026 documentation - scores that determine whether a seller can access affiliate marketing, participate in platform campaigns, settle payments in one rather than eight days, or use features like Countdown Bidding for LIVE auctions.

The Shop Performance Score runs from 0 to 5 and is built from six metrics across three dimensions - product satisfaction, fulfillment and logistics, and customer service. Benefit thresholds sit at 2.5, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5, each unlocking an additional layer of platform access. The AHR runs in parallel, with a threshold of 150 gating access to Smart Promotion enrollment and Countdown Bidding. Both scores are scheduled to underpin a wider compliance transition in July 2026, when TikTok Shop's Account Health Rating system fully replaces the legacy Violation Points system.

The Shop Insight Agent's daily health check is therefore not cosmetic. Sellers who fall below SPS or AHR thresholds lose access to commercial features whose value is material - including faster settlement, affiliate visibility, and participation in Deals for You Days and other major campaigns. Surfacing those scores in the dashboard's primary view connects the AI Homepage directly to the enforcement framework TikTok Shop has assembled throughout the year.

The Product Opportunity Radar Agent's use of seven-day real-time data also connects to TikTok Shop's broader analytics infrastructure. The platform updated Market Scope in May 2026 with new e-commerce modules, adding dual-path views that display both in-app TikTok Shop purchases and off-platform web payments simultaneously. The AI Homepage operates at the seller level rather than the brand level - a different layer from Market Scope, which is accessible through TikTok Business Center and requires a TikTok account manager for access.

TikTok Shop's scale in the US

The rollout of an AI-powered seller interface reflects the scale TikTok Shop has reached in the United States since its launch in September 2023. According to EMARKETER data cited by TikTok, the platform reached $15.82 billion in US e-commerce sales in 2025, growing 108% year over year. Its US social commerce share stood at 18.2% in 2025, with projections placing it at 24.1% by 2027.

TikTok Shop's German expansion offers a parallel data point. In that market, seller revenues nearly doubled in the six months following the platform's March 2025 launch, with more than 25,000 active sellers and a monthly reach of over 27 million users, according to a 48-week NielsenIQ panel study. At that scale, the operational load on individual sellers - tracking health scores, responding to task alerts, monitoring product conversion, staying ahead of trending categories - is significant. The AI Homepage is TikTok Shop's response to that complexity.

The platform has signalled that the AI Homepage is not a finished product. According to TikTok Shop's documentation, the plan includes adding more AI capabilities, expanding access to more categories, and refining the experience based on seller feedback. For now, access remains limited to the beta group, and the feature runs on PC only.
