Yelp updates its logo and app icons

Yelp yesterday updated its logo and app icons on iOS. The update will rollout in Android devices later this week.

Yelp says the new logo and app icons add the finishing touches to the modernization of the Yelp platform.

When users launch the Yelp app, they will see a new playful animation that includes the new logo.

Yelp was using 16 different colors across the 4 app icons, and in the new app icons only 2 colors are now used.
