Google last month introduced an optional website link in Call Ads. Advertisers can now can now include an optional “Visit website” link within the Call Ads.

Google also renamed “call-only ads” into “call ads”, with the introduction of the optional website link.

According to Google, the “Visit website” link expands the call ad, so the ad becomes more visible on the search results page.

Users tapping on the “Visit website” link will be taken to the website; users tapping the headline will still lead to a call.

Google last year updated the Call-Only Ads unit layout.
