Google last month introduced a price tracker in the browser Chrome. The price tracker notifies users if the price drops, and it tries to find discount codes from the retailer.
According to Google, the price tracker is available starting in the U.S. on desktops and Android devices.
To use the price tracker, users need to select “track price” in the Chrome address bar. Users can then opt-in to receive an email or mobile notification from Chrome if there is a price drop.
When users add items to the shopping cart, Chrome will find available discount codes from the retailer and automatically show them at checkout.
