YouTube has updated its YouTube Analytics revenue to include a new feature that shows creators their top-earning videos by format. This includes Shorts, VOD (video on demand), and live streams.
The goal of this update is to help creators optimize their monetization strategy by giving them more insights into which formats are performing the best for them.
VIDEO This is a significant update for creators, as it will give them valuable data that they can use to make informed decisions about their content strategy. For example, a creator who sees that their Shorts videos are their top earners may want to focus on creating more Shorts content. Or, a creator who sees that their live streams are their top earners may want to invest in improving their live streaming setup.
The update is available now to all YouTube creators. To see your top-earning videos by format, go to the YouTube Analytics revenue tab and select the "Top earning content by format" card.
