Google reassures publishers it will continue to pay on time

Google this month contacted all publishers to reassure it will continue to pay on time, according to the terms and conditions.

Google pays publishers monthly, on a minimum threshold of 70 euros. If the balance of a publisher exceeds this payment threshold, publishers receive the payment between the 21st and the 26th of the next month.

Google says that, despite the uncertainties of COVID-19, Google infrastructure is able to continue to support businesses around the world.

Publishers are concerned if they will get the payments on time, as recently, many of them got affected by the Sizmek bankruptcy, and the sequential liability.

OpenX this month also wrote their publishers saying that it has added an insurance line to cover potential DSP payment defaults.

Publishers are already starting to share who is late with payments.
