Google this month announced that it will accept ads for virtual slot-machine games, online casinos, and online poker in Germany, starting next month.

According to Google, the new ad policy reflects the transition to the new State Treaty on Games of Chance (Glücksspielstaatsvertrag), entering into effect on July 1, 2021.

Advertisers need to apply for certification.
